Cell phone users frustrated by strange charges and bad customer support

Many Mobile Phone subscribers are discovering that their wireless companies are charging them excessive amounts of money but the customer service is giving their customers the runaround whenever they call. Thus, federal complaints against mobile phone companies have risen 37 percent over the last year.

In one case, a man was received a $9,000 bill from his cell phone company. After being given no answers from tech support, and even being transferred to a disconnected number, the man finally discovered that his phone was downloading megabytes of email every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, neither the phone company nor the phone itself told him that it was doing that.
